I have had a number of instances where I am trying to restart my G5 (10.3.6) and the Finder tells me Shut Down timed out because the Mirror Agent would not quit. I tried to Force Quit and nothing by that name was listed. I use the Process Viewer (Activity Monitor, whatever its called now) but I couldn't find anything called Mirror Agent there as well. I am guessing that it is a service related to iDisk syncing (the name makes since, and I recently created a local copy of my iDisk and sync is automatically).

it's the thing that keeps your iDisk synchronized.

And it get easily confused by sleeping and/or moving out of airport range/off of a network.

Your best bet is to turn off automatic synchronization, and just do it yourself when you're connected to the network.

I found some literature on Apple's support forums- I probably should have went there first. http://discussions.info.apple.com/we....0@.689c1fed/0

Regardless, I am connected to the network 24/7 and never put my computer to sleep. Will this cuase any problems?
