Hi all - just a question, on my M$ box i oculd use zonealarm to control which programs i allow internet access to, just wondering if MacOSX has a similar inbuilt function or a program.

Thanks

There's always the built-in firewall (Apple Menu -> System Preferences -> Sharing -> Firewall) to make sure people don't get in. This way you can explicitly specify which ports get service.

Then there's the third party tool LittleSnitch, which is more interactive like ZoneAlarm, and it will present a window when ANY application tries to send or receive, asking you to allow/deny, etc.
