G4's 10.3.6 okay to run new G5?

Okay, bare with with me while I explain this:

I've been using a WD Raptor 74GB in a PowerMac G4, and it has 10.3.6 on it with all my installed apps, etc.

I've just been delivered a new G5, which came with a standard drive with 10.3.5 on it, which System Update immediately wanted to update to 10.3.6.

Naturally after checking the G5 was okay, I've put the Raptor into it to use as my boot drive and the standard drive for storage.

Now it gets tricky: when I restarted the G5, it started up using the Raptor (probably because I'd installed it in the top drive bay, and moved the standard drive to the lower bay). Everything seemed fine, however, I'm paranoid and wondering about this: The Raptor was formerly being used to run the G4, so the 10.3.6 on it is a "G4 flavor" if such a thing makes sense (ie, configured for a puny video card instead of the monster nVidia 6800 etc!).

The question: should I re-format the Raptor and re-install a "G5's" 10.3.6 and all my apps on it, or use it as it is? It would save a lot of time if I could assume 10.3.6 is the same whether it was originally installed on a G4 or a G5, but of course I want to make sure everything is fully optimized for the G5.

(Quick answers appreciated, as I'm currently backing up the Raptor in preparation for a re-install!)

Leave it, it'll be fine.

some of your preferences are tied to the G4's MAC address (in ~/Library/Preferences/ByHost), so things like your screensaver may need to be reset, but that's about it.
You see, my friends, pirates are the key. - thalo
