I'm just getting an IDE->Firewire800 converter today. Have all of the bugs been worked out in OSX concerning the Oxford chipset? I don't want my hard disks to be erased!

I've been using a Lacie FW800 disk now for a few months no problems at all. The FW drive is my backup drive, so I hope there's no issues now.
