I need help on this, this is getting ridiculous:
Whenever I'm using an external screen on my PB12 and then disconnect it when I'm done, I loose my mouse pointer. The mouse is still active, I can still click, but the pointer isn't visible. I have to restart the machine to have it show up again. This is particularly frustrating because this means that I have to restart the machine every time I give a presentation! I'm using 10.3 with all the latest updates on a 2 month old PB12 (my first Apple).
Thanks for your help.

I've had this as well, and also read about others with the same problem. I've not checked myself, but have you made sure that your cursor is on the main screen (i.e. pb) when you disconnect the second screen?

Thanks for the suggestion. I will try that and report on this forum.
(Even if this works, it's still a bug. Does anyone know how to report it?)

I have the same problem, but logging in again fixes it. No need for a reboot.

Wow, it took me a while to respond. I had forgotten, sorry
Ok, now everytime I unplug the external display I make sure to have my mouse cursor in the main screen, and it works.
Still a bug though...

I have the opposite problem, where I lose my cursor when I startup my 12" in clamshell mode on an external. Everything works fine (I know because I could still go through the dock and click on menu's etc..), but the mouse icon isn't there.
NOW YOU SEE ME! 2.4 MBP and 2.0 MBP (running ubuntu)
