I was recently sent a e-mail by my ISP informing me of a Firmware update for my
D-Link Wireless ADSL Router
Not sure if this will help but
DSL-G604T is the product number

I downloaded it fine and went throught the instructiuons to install it but when it came to clicking apply it would then say "Updating, Please Wait"

The first time we left it for a good 20 mins and nothing happened, it would just stay idol

We then rang D link but they were closed for the holidays

So we rang our ISP instead
Their only advice was to wait for dlink and MAKE SURE YOU DONT TURN IT OFF

So we waited a few days for Dlink to open

Meanwhile....We had a black out and the router was turned off
We turned it back on and reconfigured the connection

and it all went fine

So after that big long episode of events
D link simply dismissed it as a problem that OS X has with firmware

I am yet to try the update with a PC

So what should i do, i have since tried it in safari and explorer
still nothing

Are there any other problems that people are having with updating firmware

Thanks heaps
iMac G5 (20"...oh Yeah) 1 Ghz RAM, 160 Ghz Hard Drive and dont forget the good looks

This is SO not a Mac OS X topic! (This forum is ONLY for discussing the Mac OS X operating system itself.)

Post in Networking.
