I am running 10.2.8. I select a user to delete, it asked me if I do infact wish to delete the user and the information will be put into a "Deleted Users" folder. I says yes, it runs for a minute and and finishes, but nothing is accomplished.

I have a disk image of the deleted user, but the user is not deleted. It is still there in the users file, it is still there in the log in screen.

Does anyone know what is up with that? Thanks for your help

tried restarting since you deleted the user?

Yea, a couple times. I also signed on a root and tried it. No luck.
