When you fill in your Adsl details within the Network icon via system preferences you can lock the changes.

Is there a way to keep these locked as when you switch back on the tower they are unlocked again.

p.s. I am aware that if i leave my tower a sleep it remains locked.

Make sure your Security system preference has the box checked that says "Require password to unlock each secure system preference"
