http://forums.macnn.com/newthread.ph...p;forumid=90#I am trying to use a program "IRecordMusic" which will allow me to schedule recording sessions on BBC or NPR which I can then import to iTunes and my iPod. My iMac wakes at 7am. My problem is that it will not allow me to circumvent the loggin (unless I physically do it which defeats the scheduling)and thus never gets to iCal for the scheduled recording. Can anyone tell me how to remove me (admin) from my accounts and thus allow the computer to simply boot up and start iCal. Hmmm. Does anyone get this?

there's no real way to "delete the admin user" from OS X. i think auto-login is what you're after. check the Accounts preference pane > Login Options (i think; i'm not at a Mac right now)

If it's a Crontab event, it will happen as long as the machine is awake. It doesn't matter if anyone is logged in or not.
