Hi there guys...I left a post about some screwy output problems with my powerbook (sorry about the cross post tooki....one freebie for the new guy?) and am finally getting around to reinstalling OSX to see if this eliminates pan/channel problem (I've tried messing with every setting to no avail). Just wondering if I should backup everything and start with Jaguar, then go to Panther or whether just installing panther (and archieving) might do the trick.
I'm assuming it to be a simple driver prob but not sure....anyodd any inputs would be great!! Cheers and thanks.
Myx.

Hello myx ...

Considering that's what you want to do ... I recommend this

1. Repair your Disk

2. Repair permissions ..

3. Archive and Install Panther

4. Repair permissions

5. Run Combo Updater

6. Repair Permissions

Good luck!
