I Cant seem to get Classic to start up under any of my user accounts and yet admin can.

I have done software restore.
I have turned off fast user switching and tried

But still no luck

Its not the classic it self its some permission thing but all its premissions are

system
Read & Write

staff
Read & Write

Others
Read Only


Please tell me how 2 fix my classic!

If it's a permission problem, does Repair Permissions fix it?

If not, what's the exact error message you get?

Ticking sound coming from a .pkg package? Don't let the .bom go off! Inspect it first with Pacifist. Macworld - five mice!

i dont get an error..

when classic is started it just does nothing.

a window opens with the thing that shows classic start up status but the status doesnt move and the big window area below is blank showing background and not the os 9 start up.

i started it in os 9 as my start up disc and ran the disc repair and it says it fixed an error but it still isnt working now back at os x.

Below is a picture of what ill see untill i hit stop

Launch the Console app (in the Utilities folder), then try to start Classic. Does anything show up in the Console?

Thanks for all your help but i fixed it.
it appears it was trying to use preferences from my home folder. i checked them and there were no prefs in my home folder so i unchecked and its running again.
