I am trying to reformat a Ti PowerBook G4 867 DVI, but when ever I put in the 10.2 install CD, I get an kernel panic error. I try booting off the 9.2 CD and I get an error 11 message. I tried putting a 10.3 CD in just to see if it would boot, and it worked and the installer came up, but I can't install 10.3 because that will violates the license.

Is there any way I can get 10.2 installed?

It's possible that the version of the firmware on the TiBook is later than that specified on the two CDs from which you have been unable to boot the Mac. If that is the case, the Mac will not boot from those (older) CDs.

What OS is installed on the Mac? What version of the Mac OS came on the Software Restore and Instal discs included with that computer?
