I was updating a program manually for my profesor and inadvertently replaced a folder that I thought only contained templates and example files. It contained some important stuff. Is there anyway to get those filess back. Could I use a program like Data Rescue X. There wasn't any data saving program loaded at the time I replaced the files. Should I give up?
Unfortunately, if you overwrote the folder it is probably gone. However, you could try ProSoft Data Rescue X to see if any of the contents can be retrieved. In Demo mode, it enables you to recover one file.
