Seeing Windows 2000 network with OSX

I just switched a OS 9.2 box over to OS X . I had been using DAVE to see and use the windows network. I was under the impression I could do this inline with OS X. Was I wrong or do I just have some settings incorrect.

System Preferences.app -> Sharing -> Windows Sharing.
