i rebooted OFF disc warrior, as it said to do

but then every time disc warrior was done, it kept saying "the computer will restart now," and it again rebooted off the disc warrior cd

i had to evenutally force the cd out of the cd drive w/a paperclip

what am i doing wrong?

Are you holding down the C key when restarting? That'll boot into the CD drive. Just let restart automatically and it should reboot back into OSX.

I've seen this happen on some Macs (they tend to forget the startup volume when booting from a CD). You could hold down the option key when booting, and select your boot volume, or else hold down the mouse button while booting to eject the CD.
