i cannot believe how loud this fan gets when opening new applications, etc.

even when not doing anything that "challenging"

am i the only one w/this problem?

On a laptop I use, the fan starting up is usually a sign of the Finder going haywire and sucking up 90% CPU while apparently doing nothing. Until it's killed.
