Yes I still have a few WIN XP boxes around my house. I am looking for a solution that would sync files between my MAC's and PC's. My thought is having my iTune library on all my boxes about 40GB worth.

Is there a program that lets you sync across OSX boxes and WIN XP boxes?

Most of the Mac OS X synch/backup programs would work, it's just a matter of setting up access (eg, via SMB - turn on file sharing on the Windows box and share the relevant directory - or the entire disk, if you really want to). OS X will connect to SMB shares easily, and most 3rd party apps will allow you to sync with the share once mounted. Some will mount it for you automatically.

Just a matter of searching www.versiontracker.com and seeing which one suits you best.

I use Synk to backup to an SMB server (unix not windows, but should be much the same). Works nicely, but doesn't reliably mount the server automatically. I have to mount the fileshare myself first.

I just use Win XP's Offline Folders. Works great between my tablet and PowerBook.

I'm looking forward to seeing what developers come up with in Tiger, when Apple makes it's iSync API public, and the frameworks built into the OS for everyone to use and develope synch modules for.

If your goal is to sync files other than your iTunes library, then consider the suggestions of the other posters. If mainly just wanna share your music, iTunes can do this already. Just turn music sharing on in iTunes prefs and and you library will show up in the source list of all other boxes on your network. Works flawlessly cross-platform. No sense in making multiple copies of 40gb worth of music

If you have to sync that data (and I don't think you do), then I would recommend rsync as a good way of keeping things synced. There is a version for windows, but I would recommend you do your own searching for it, as it will give you an idea of what you need to do to use it.
