All my menu extras and even the clock are gone, I can't even add them again
How can I get them back.

Have to give more info. When did this happen? What system are you on? Did you do an upgrade or install of anything? Are you using any themes? Do anything Terminal?

Have you tried logging out? Restarting? Have you gone into preferences and tried adjusting the settings for something, such as clock? Can you take a snapshot (option shift 3) of the desktop and show us exactly what it looks like.

I installed the latest security update Restarted and tried to make it show via the system pref.

Try resintalling the security update, if you can. See if that helps. Also, repair permissions afterward.
