does it matter if u repair disk permission first or do the crons first? are there any other maintenance i need to do? thanks

It shouldn't matter in which order as long as they're done.
If you have Safari, edit your autofill entries, empty your flavicon cache (quitting will also do this) and empty or disable your cache to keep it running smoothly.
Unless you are having problems, that should handle most of the tasks needed.
