not sure if this goes here or network but i want to be able to do printer sharing. how do i do this and how?

Well if you are trying to share your printer with others try this on your machine.

System Preferences->Print & Fax-> tick 'Share my printers with other computers'

If you are trying to print to a shared printer.
Choose 'Print' and in the Printer pop-up choose 'Shared Printers'. This will show a list of available printers.

ok i did that first one. but i tried it and on Safari went File -> Print. Checked the Printer list and no shared printers came up.
Do i have 2 add it to my printer list or something?

Ok, if you are trying to print on a printer connected directly to a Mac from another Mac the previous should work.

Though some times you have to turn OFF the printer sharing and then back ON again on the Mac with the printer for it to show up on the remote Mac. Don't know why it just does it occasionally!

You need to tell us exactly what your setup is:

A = Safari Mac you want to print from

B = computer the printer is directly connected to

If B is a Mac, then you need to turn on printer sharing on B. (Once you do, you should see the printer listed amont those in the pop-up list of the print dialog on A. Select it and you should be good to go.)

If B is *not* a Mac, then you need to do the Windows equivalent, which, as I understand it, is much more complicated.
