OMG dude, quick shut down and put your machine in a sealed box before it goes into meltdown!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I can be serious for a minute. It's possible that the recipient doesn't have the Arial font and maybe that's just html's way of telling you it's supposed to be formatted differently. Acrobat gives warnings about missing fonts using dialogs.

Some email accounts convert html into plain text so maybe that's what's happening. Don't worry about it. If he's on a Mac, rest assured that there are no known viruses for Mac OS X. If he's on Windows, he probably has plenty viruses already + spyware + adware + a bad system. In which case send him some more viruses .

If you were using Mail.app, it doesn't forward HTML mail properly. That is most likely what caused the problem.

Mail 2.0 in Tiger will fix this.

And a word of advice for your new Mac:

When you run into a problem, please try to lose the habit of instantaneously blaming it on a virus.

I know that working with Windows PCs fosters that kind of excuse for problems, but for Macs (which have not been affected by a virus in quite a few years), it's just not feasible.

Bugs? Yes, all programs have certain quirks or problems.
Virii? On a Windows PC yes; on a Mac, no.

It's really that simple!
