How would one go about removing a Finder context menu item added by an application?

I removed the application and, at least I thought, everything associated with it. However, I still have this pesky menu item left over. If I click it, a dialog requests I start the program to use the menu item.

Is there a central location where such things are located? Is it a preference file somewhere I missed... or one that I can edit?

Any help would be greatly appreciated... these kinda things drive me crazy

I *thought* I'd looked through both Library directories... how did I miss that? Haha.

I have tons of Photoshop-contextual menu-items that I want to remove, but don't see them listed there?

If you mean this kind of thing:



(i.e. lots of apps appearing in the 'Open With' context menu submenu)

Then you can compress the Photoshop/Samples/Droplets/ directory.

Did that and it worked, however: now every application that I can open a image-file with is listed twice in the contextual menu (ie: Preview, Preview, Safari, Safari, Camino, Camino, you'll get the point....)
