I'm trying to install OS X server on a B&W G3, and I'm having issues.

I've got the original 20 gig HD out of my cube formatted as Mac OS Extended Journaled. I booted off the CD and installed the first disc onto the drive. When the machine restarted, it booted to the grey OS X screen with the circle with the line through. I tried to install again to the same results.

Any advice?

Try normal OS X client troubleshooting at this point. Make sure the directory structure isn't hosed. Run the repair permissions. Try installing OS X Client instead and then upgrade it to Server from disk two.
