I recently had to reinstall my operating system (10.3) and am now trying to install ilife. I have the full DVD and have run software update to make sure everything is up to date. When I run the installer, it says that one of the programs, iphoto:imovie:iDVD:itunes: or garageband, is running and I need to quit this program before I can install. Here's the kicker. I DON"T HAVE ANYTHING RUNNING!!! Just to check, I restarted and ran the installer so I knew nothing else was running and still got the same message. Please let me know what is going on. I don't want to reinstall the os, but if I have to I will (yet I don't know what would be different) Please help!!!

Go to /Applications/Utilities-->Activity Monitor. Quit iTunesHelper and try running the installer again.

Use descriptive thread titles. "Please help me" says nothing about what this thread is about.
