Hiya,

Has anybody successfully used xcode to compile to vanilla distcc installs running on x86 linux boxes?

I know you'd have to setup a cross compiler, but I'm just curious if Apple's version of distcc will communicate and work properly alongside a vanilla version of distcc running on another platform.

The reason I'm wondering is because I've been thinking about getting a Mini. The only thing I'm worried about is the slow HD speeds making compile times awful. My other box runs a 64bit linux on an athlon 3000+, so it'd be great to offload the compiles to.

Justin
