i've recently transferred over to osX from 9. i'm on version 10.1.2 i've never printed from osX; i've an epson 1290. when i go to Print Centre, i get a pop up saying 'You have no printers available'. i click 'add' and i'm then in the Print Center box. i click Add Printer, and i get a message saying 'the application Print Center has unexpectedly quit', it closes and thats it. i try again and get the same.. any ideas?

Search for and run Print Center Repair -- and then upgrade to at least Mac OS X 10.2, better 10.3. Not only are they faster, they have less problems.
