I read through the "10.3.8 is out" thread and didn't see any mention of this, so I thought I'd ask.

Anyone experience an occasional screen lighting flicker (on a PB) since the update to 10.3.8?

It's not a major problem, and it only occasionally happens, but it can be annoying.

It's been widely reported in the PowerBook forum as well as other troubleshooting sites like Macintouch.

You can fix this by going to System Preferences -> Displays and unchecking the automatically adjust brightness based something, something.

There are sensors underneath the grills on the right and left side. If your hand brushes over them, the brightness changes.
