I've got a 17" CRT hooked up to my Mac Mini (see sig for specs) and it works great and I've got the res cranked however every once in a while when I come back from sleep it won't detect the monitor and I defaults to 800x600.

I have the display icon up in the menu so I can click on that and hit auto-detect and all is well. Could I create keyboard shortcut to do this? Or how would I have it stop doing this?

I'm a switcher and this is my first Mac, i'm absolutely loving it and I can't wait to invest in a nice LCD this summer, hopefully widescreen but until then I'll stick with the 17", still is amazing .

Thanks.
