I've noticed in my system.log that there are a few times that the phrases "prebinding" or "prebound" are used, and I was wondering just what they meant. Can someone provide me with some info? I mean, is it normal for the system log to mention it, or is that unusual? Just curious. I'm not experiencing any problems at the moment, so this isn't a troubleshooting question.

You really should feel dumb right now. Here is the very first link from google on "prebinding". 30 seconds of research and you would have the answer. Sorry to be harsh... but if it helps you remember to do your own research first it will be worth it.

True, but quite often I find that asking the people that know first is the best tactic since it can help make sure you don't get bad or innaccurate information...the type of stuff you'd later make reference to and then laughed at by those in the know. I'd feel much more foolish then than I do now. Besides, this IS my first line of research quite often. Plus, I just like the people here
