Problem: PowerBook wakes after 5 mins

I never had any trouble with my April PowerBook G4 1.33 GHz running 10.3.8 until about aweek ago when I would put the machine to sleep using the menu it would awake some 5 minutes later. Since this doesn't occur in a new testing account I set up, it doesn't seem hardware or update related. The problem went away when I added or removed either my .bashrc (which just has alias in it) and/or my Apple mouse. But then that didn't work either. I did a fresh install with my default 10.3.5 disk and everything worked normally all last night. Only this morning I put the system in slep twice and it didn't wake up. After third time I started getting the automatic awake after 5 minutes.

Only two added applications. A few utilities. No Bluetooth. Problem happens whether Airport is on or off.

I managed to isolate in the system.log two occurrences, one where manually wake the system from sleep, one where it awakes itself after 5 mins. The logs are different. Any idea what is doing this??

Note: Marked log. Click on sleep in Apple menu. Once up again, marked the log again.

Sleep manually

You already have a thread going about this. You don't need to start a new thread just because you don't like the title of the other thread, especially if people are still replying to it.
