Whenever I stick a blank CD into my PB12 with SuperDrive,
it pops up the little window asking what app I want to open it in...
I select Open Finder and type in a simple name for the disk...

I expect it to show up on the left side of my Finder window...
just like it always has in OS X...

but, no... nothing...
and even if I go into Terminal and look in /Volumes, nothing...
if I open Disk Utility, it sees it there... but indicates it has zero capacity...

I have over 10GB free on my system hard drive...
I tried different disks (though all disks I've burned in the past just fine)...
I restarted... I was at 10.3.7, so I updated to 10.3.8... fixed permissions...
still nothing.

I need to burn a disk! HELP!?!?

Go into System Preferences, click on CD & DVD, and then tell it to "Ask what to do" "When you insert a blank CD." "Ignore" is a bad option.

ACSA 10.4/10.3, ACTC 10.3, ACHDS 10.3

Okay... hmmm... now it doesn't ask me what to do... but the disk still never shows up.

Thanks for the suggestion, though.
