Since loading 10.2.8 i've notice that my cursor disappears in Safari when it is moved to the upper left corner of the monitor. Over where the page back button is. This effects both my TI powerbook and my G4 Sawtooth. If I move the active window down a little in the display the problem goes away. I've only noticed it in Safari and only in the most upper left of the display. I also notice the I don't have a cursor when typing text in the message block of Macnn. Is this normal?????

Well, if you consider a bug normal, then yes, it's normal.

I've reported this to Apple via Safari's "Report Bugs to Apple..".

I believe this is a bug of the Flash plug-in. If you don't have the newest version update it and see if the problem goes away.

This is normal. The Mac since 1984 has always hidden the cursor when you're typing. This makes sense since the focus is on the typing, not the mouse cursor. In particular, having the cursor on screen when I'm typing is one of the things that annoys me about Windows. It just proves that Microsoft still hasn't copied the Mac correctly.

This used to happen every so often to me. Haven't seen it for quite awhile. I am using the latest updates. Can't remember when this issue went away. There used to be a thread about it.
