Well, does it?

Long story: I'd like to get a larger hard drive for my iMac, and if I did, wanted to know, if I should get an enclosure to move all the stuff on the old HDD, provided Tiger can do so. I'll probably get the drive anyway, and yes I understand a clean install is the way to go, but can anyone mention this without breaking their NDA?

I know I brought up the Palm issue earlier, but these are valid questions to know if Tiger will break my currently working system. If it did, I'd have to probably invest non-trivial hours recovering my “old” 10.3.x system for functionality. It's obvious I'd like to avoid the hassle.

So, thanks in advance for any answers.

Sa…weet!

I guess a better question would be, "does that migration tool also work with external hard drives, or does carbon copy cloner do the trick?"

Thanks!

Thanks!
It can take data from any partition you have.
