When I want to back up all my important stuff (documents, emails, etc.), do I just copy the Home folder to something like an external drive, or do I need to go through and choose certain folders?

I've been using Carbon Copy Cloner to image my iBook to an external drive. That way, I am sure I haven't missed anything important and I can boot from that drive if need be.
