I recently ran Onyx Maintanace and Apple Disk Utility to repair permissions. Since then I haven't been able to load System Preferences. I click the Apple logo and the System Preferences and nothing happens. The logo doesn't even appear in the Dock. Any suggestions?

G3 500 MHZ iBook
OS 10.3.8
