Anyone manage to get Tiger to successfully run (decently) on an original iBook with no DVD drive? Or should these iBooks be considered such 'old birds' that they have reached their OS-update limit with Panther?

PS...10.3.8 does run quite well on my 300 MHz iBook for the most basic tasks considering that it has 288 MB of RAM.

Can you just use an external drive? Even if it is a USB one or are the system requirements a DVD drive?

You'll be able to get Tiger on CD also.
