Amazon.com is selling it for 135, with a 35 dollar mail in rebate (IIRC). Will it be cheaper using Student discount, or by going through Amazon? Thanks for your input. First time buying an operating system from Apple. =)

Student price for the Panther is $69+tax... If the Tiger is introduced with the same price, it will be cheaper than the Amazon's price...

i was wondering if it'd be a tiny discount ... 69 sounds good to me. if that's true, i'll be grabbing tiger when it comes out =P

Historically, the current release of OSX has always cost this much when the student discount is applied. Tiger will probably cost the same.
