hey all

.mac has a cool "aliases" feature, that lets you set up different email addresses.....you can write back to people from the different addresses. the problem is, Mail doesn't support it. you can only use it through the web site.

does Tiger mail support it?

Are you sure about that?

(read all comments of that hint as well)

well that's cool, thanks.

(is this "safe" -- in that your main email address is fully hidden when sent?)

i spent forever searching apple "help" and the web site, and couln't find anyplace to tell me how to do this. (and, clearly it's a manual "workaround" -- you'd think apple would build this into Mail so that it updates available aliases automatically, and you could use the ".Mac" option in Mail.)

still, this is cool. thanks

i guess my question still stands though......does tiger have official support for aliases?
