Can Tiger Preview.app read Acrobat highlights in PDF's

Is anyone aware of whether or not the Preview.app bundled with Tiger can read and display highlights or comments inserted into a PDF document by Acrobat Pro?
If not, is there a reason why not? Are these features some proprietary Adobe addition to the PDF spec, or have they just not been implemented by Apple?

He doesn't ask how to do something in Tiger, he asks if Tiger will have a specific feature or not.

As far as I can tell, there's no public info on this except for the one I gave. Tiger Preview reads both highlighting and annotation notes from Acrobat.
