icons often get mixed up?

does anyone know why, upon leaving my powerbook on for a while, some icons get mixed up (i.e. adobe acrobat icon is showing up as my documents folder icon)

Yah... I dono why that happens... wish they'd fix it though... I do lots of custom icons and it gets frustrating...
