Has anyone had a problem where whenever they try to print the application they're printing from quits? It happens whether you use the keyboard shortcut, the file menu, or a toolbar button, and it happens in all applications. I'm a little stumped.

edit: this is happening on an iMac G4

Have you tried repairing permissions? Re-setting up the printers? Does this happen under all User accounts?

No, but after 10.3.9, I can't print to a deskjet on another mac anymore.
It gets added to the queue, but all jobs get stopped.
When I go to the other mac and start the jobs, it waits for 10 seconds, then goes back to "jobs stopped"
signatures are a waste of bandwidth
especially ones with political tripe in them.

I tried re-setting up the printers, no good. I'll try repairing the permissions, we'll see what happens I guess.

Not sure if it happens under other users. Also not sure if I want to talk them through setting up another user to test it over the phone...

I have run into the problem of 'jobs stopped' with my hp all in one. Have not really found a solution, but haven't been particularly focused on fixing it either. The problem has been around since before .9.

yeah, that worked for me too, but I've had to do it twice now---not exactly fun to do when you're in a hurry.

Reparing the permissions didn't do anything. I also haven't been able to find any reports of this happening to anyone else.

This is really annoying...
