Hi, it would be great if someone could reply as fast as possible. I'm on a PowerBook G4 and I want to do a clean install with my Panther disk but also make a new partition at the same time. How exactly would I do this, step by step, if possible.

Thanks a lot in advance.

When the installer starts, go under the Apple Menu to "Disk Utility".

once in disk utility choose the drive on the left and click the partition tab on the right. select two partitions from the list and then optionally name them. click the partition (ok?) button and once it is done (10-15 seconds) quit disk utility and you will be back in the installer ready to install.
