The subject line pretty much says it all! The computer will hit the scheduled shutdown time, the screensaver that's running (a folder of photos) stops and the screen goes blank. The little light on the front of the computer (Mac Mini) stays on, the monitor still detects a signal (the light doesn't go to orange), the hard disk continues to spin and moving the mouse/keyboard doesn't do anything about it. At this point, the only thing I can do is do a hard restart by holding in the power button.

I tried trashing the pref for it, still does it! Any ideas? Thanks! Shawn

I ended up foregoing the autoshutdown and just used the auto sleep function instead. I was on the phone with Apple support for a good while trying to get it figured out. They ended up not being able to figure out what was wrong either. So just a bug.
