Windows lose 'focus'

	Hi, Very irritating thing has started happening... Every ten seconds or so the window I am working in loses it's focus as if I have selected an invisible window in the same application. That is to say the widgets go gray and I have to click back into the window to do anything. This happens in all apps including the finder. What's going on? 10.3.9 Thanks Simon
