On Amazon's info page for Tiger, it reads:

Apple's new operating system is available for pre-order
and ships on April 28. Here are highlights from over 200
new features:

Which is what it said when I pre-ordered a month ago. So, I figured with fancy next-day shipping, I'd get it on the 29th. The order info page says that it's shipping on the 29th, though, and won't get here until May 2. Anyone else order from Amazon and see the same thing? Better yet, anyone else know which is the _real_ shipping date from Amazon?

thanks!

My "Estimated Delivery Date" is May 6! No mention of ship date -- hoping they will ship sooner -- would love to have it before 5/6!

Mine lists an estimated ship date of today (fingers crossed) and an estimated delivery date of May 4. (I chose free shipping).

Earlier today my order said it was going to ship tomorrow. However, now the status has been changed to "Shipping Soon". That usually means shipping today. I chose the free shipping, so they're estimating May 11th. My experience has been though that they pad that number heavily. They say it takes 7-10 days, but I've never had it take more than 3. All it means is that they're going to use the cheapest shipping method they've got that day. It might be UPS, Fed-Ex, or even USPS.
