Cisco sucks.

Really, how long have Tiger DP's been out?
And how drastically can the networking services have changed since then.

They are lazy, and didn't put the time and effort into it up front, and this is the result.
Good planning guys!

especially ones with political tripe in them.

Calling them lazy is unfair. You have no idea what other projects they are working on and what their staffing situation is like. But yes, they did drop the ball on this one. It for situations exactly like this that I have two partitions on my hard drive. I can install Tiger on my main partition, and Pather on the other. Then I can always revert back if I need to. If you haven't set your system up with more than one partition, then now is a good time to do it.

I can say with confidence that Cisco has been working with Apple for at least the past few months on this; my workplace has been in contact with both of them about it. I do not claim to understand what is taking them so long, but given how long it's been taking them I doubt it's a simple thing.

If a call to their tech support (especially for Linksys branded stuff) is any indication, we know all to well what their staffing situation is like. They pay in rupees and you can't understand a friggin' word anyone says. No wonder the software isn't done on time.

It will probably be out before Apple sends us our maintenance upgrade of Tiger

This is what's keeping me from upgrading my main partition to Tiger this second. Now I'll have to install Panther on ANOTHER partition just to log into work.

Not only are they slow to market....apparently they lie to customers as well.

They've told people there is no beta available, meanwhile, USC has a beta version that it is allowing students to download.

Nice.
