Is there a way to verify that a fresh installation of OS X was entirely error-free? I've had a few installs that appeared to complete normally, but exhibited strange behaviour on reboot. Turns out several key OS X components weren't installed that should've been, but no error messages appeared during install. In other words, the install seemed normal, but was defective.
Is there an easy way to compare a fresh install on a hard drive to the OS X system install disks?
