If you do upgrade or archive/install with settings transferred, you don't get that.

Search for every .MOV file in the OS and you'll find it somewhere, I did that for Panther I believe...

Try using spotlight

Find every movie whose copyright contains "Apple" and whose creation date is after 1 Jan this year.

(I'd be curious to know if that works.) - [edit] - hmm, maybe it won't - I'd have thought that /System is excluded from spotlight.
