I just received a 17" PB with Tiger pre-installed. Ordered from Apple Online Store on 4/22, shipped on 4/27 and received today. I'm on it now!

How is the [FONT=Verdana]trackbad button[/FONT] on your new powerbook ? The earlier 1.67 powerbooks had a really mushy trackpad button which did not have a satisfying click compored to say an ibook.

It's not as clicky as the ibook, but I think it's better than the 1.5ghz 17" that I had. Pretty firm.

damn it.! I said that.
and i ordered my BTO last monday and i WANTED panther to be installed on it. Even called the apple store to ask and she said it would have panther installed...
I even ordered the tiger 10 buck upgrade...
grrrrr.....
