I liked how the F11 expose function would brush all the windows out of the way... It still does it... but after a few seconds it pushes them back in place.... I liked who the old way worked when it would... wait for me to press the button. What up wid.dat?

it does not do that in mine. It still works the old way. I let it stay there for a while to.

Same here. I let the windows stay hidden for up to 2 minutes. Everything works as it should. Are you using hot corners?

Slick shoes?!! Are you crazy?!!

I had this happen under 10.3.8 and it eventually (few days later) fixed itself. I had hot corners, however.

I'm raising this thread from the dead, as I'm having exactly the same problem on 10.4.3 : when I move to the "Show Desktop" hot corner, the windows reappear after about 5 seconds (the delay seems to be constant after several attempts)

I just wanted to know how the original poster fixed the problem (if he did)

Thx

I'm having a similar problem with 10.4.6. I've only had the computer for a week and it's my first mac, so I fear I might be overlooking something simple. Anyways when I hit F11 for show desktop it shows the desktop then immediately moves all windows back with the last window I was using on top waiting to be clicked. "All Windows" functions similarly. It brings up all windows then immediately brings forward the last window being used waiting to be clicked.

How can I fix this? TIA
